ILAI — Ippocra Local Artificial Intelligence

Welcome ILAI. — the name says it all. Ippocra Local Artificial Intelligence. An artificial intelligence that doesn’t run on remote servers, but lives on your own infrastructure — yours, your data, under your control.

The story of how we got here is short, intense and, I’d say, very typical of how we build things: it starts with an observation, transforms into a product and then into a sale.

April: we start working with local AI

It all began in April 2026. We decided to invest seriously in the world of local artificial intelligence — running AI models directly on the user’s infrastructure, without depending on external clouds.

We had seen that pay-per-token models were becoming the main approach, with the possible cost increases that come with using artificial intelligence. Furthermore, the data we wanted to process was too valuable to be sent to cloud platforms that would turn it into a commodity. We already had experience in privacy-first technology with Ippo, but local AI was something completely different: a product from scratch, to be built, tested and perfected.

May: we realised we had something special

By mid-May, after weeks of development, testing and iteration, we realised we had something interesting on our hands. It was no longer just an experiment — it was a product with real value.

We had built an agentic collaboration system where AI isn’t a chatbot limited by sessions and tokens, but a digital colleague that works alongside you, learns from your context and becomes more useful every day. A system that respects data privacy by definition — because everything runs locally.

Time to prepare the product. To turn the experiment into something solid, stable, ready for a real user.

June: the product is ready and we’ve sold our first ILAI

By mid-June, the work was done. ILAI was tested and market-ready. We packaged it all up: the product, the documentation, the site at ilai.ippocra.com, everything ready.

The product is so interesting and revolutionary that we’ve already sold our first ILAI.

The market responded with a surprising speed. Businesses that finally understood there was an AI that respects their data, doesn’t send it to the cloud and adapts to the way they work.

And this is just the beginning.

How it works

ILAI is an artificial intelligence that runs locally on your infrastructure. This means:

  • Your data never leaves your business. No cloud servers, no external APIs.
  • Predictable costs. You know what you’re spending and when. No surprises.
  • A colleague that grows with you. ILAI adapts to your processes and becomes an asset that accumulates over time.
  • Privacy guaranteed. Your data is processed only locally.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is ILAI?

ILAI (Ippocra Local Artificial Intelligence) is an artificial intelligence that runs locally on your infrastructure. It’s not a cloud service, doesn’t require an internet connection for main processing, and never sends your data to external servers. It’s pronounced as a single word, not as individual letters.

Is ILAI different from ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. Unlike cloud models such as ChatGPT or Claude, ILAI runs on your infrastructure. Your data never leaves your environment, costs are fixed and predictable, and the system adapts to your specific context instead of being a generic model.

How much does it cost to get an ILAI?

The cost depends on the infrastructure and specific needs of each business. Contact us for a customised evaluation.

Does ILAI replace people?

No. ILAI is designed to be a collaborator, not a replacement. It works alongside your team, automating repetitive tasks, helping with research and analysis, and becoming more useful over time.
